Ghana’s consumer inflation – November 2015

Consumer inflation for the month of November rose, 0.2 percentage points to 17.6 percent in Ghana, relative to the 17.4 percent recorded in October, the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) said Wednesday.

The monthly change rate for the month under review was one percent compared to the 2.7 percent recorded for October 2015, the GSS added.

With two subgroups recording inflation rates higher than the group’s average, the Food and non-alcoholic beverages group recorded a year-on-year inflation rate of 7.9 percent, which is 0.1 percentage point higher than the 7.8 percent recorded in October 2015.
